Cannot burn files to cd windows 7

This problem does not exist on any of them and they are up to date. This sounds unusual and hard to explain.

In explorer on the menu bar where burn appears, if there is not enough space a chevron will appear, click on that chevron. Burn is typically one of the last in the list. There is no burn disc option in explorer. The systems do not seem to recognize that there is a blank disc in the drive. I also tried System Restore and it did not help. This thread is locked.
